Das Spatzenmobil
In cooperation with the Kinderschutzbund Essen, donations for a new car are collected for the children's emergency room "Kleine Spatzen". The "sparrows" go daily by car to their daycare centers, schools, to visits to the doctor, etc.
The children in the sparrow nests have all had unreasonable living conditions and traumatic experiences behind them, so that they can no longer stay with their families. The reasons for admission are varied. This includes abuse, mistreatment and neglect of the child as well as mental illness or the death of the parent / one of the parents. Educators and social pedagogues work together as a multi-professional team in order to first and foremost offer the children a loving and child-friendly temporary home, so that the "sparrow children" can be children again.
